LAKE BOULEVARD (HWY 28) 1234567 TAHOE CITY, CA WARDS PUBLIC HEARING FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 ANNUAL BUDGET Hearing was called to receive testimony from interested persons regarding MotionX the proposed Fiscal Year 2009-10 Annual Budget. One person spoke on the SecondX matter. Following discussion, the public hearing was officially closed. All Ayes Following further discussion and without formal motion, the City Council conceptually approved the Fiscal Year 2009-10 Annual Budget with final adoption scheduled for later in the day. RECESS A The City Council recessed at 4:23 p.m. and reconvened at 6:30p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber with Mayor Loveridge presiding and all Councilmembers present except Councilmember Bailey. The Invocation was given by Councilmember Hart. The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag. City Manager Hudson introduced newly appointed Fire Chief Steve Earley. Mayor Loveridge called upon Riverside Arts Council Director Patrick Brien who presented the 101 Things To Do in Riverside as Arts Honoree of the Month. Mayor Loveridge called upon Councilmember Hart who presented a Sparkplug Award to Marcelino Macias. Mayor Loveridge presented a Proclamation to Donate Life representatives Christy Bethel and Debbie Morgan. OATH OF OFFICE City Clerk Colleen J. Nicol administered the Oath of Office to newly elected Councilmembers Andy Melendrez, Paul Davis, and Nancy Hart. DISCUSSION CALENDAR STANDING COMMITTEES AND REGIONAL ORGANIZATION APPOINTMENTS Following discussion, the City Council approved the recommendations of Mayor Loveridge and Mayor Pro Tempore Melendrez to (1) update the 94-370
