City Council Memorandum <br />. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: JULY 14, 2009 <br />ITEM NO: 51 <br />WARDS: ALL <br />SUBJECT: MASTER PARKING SCHEDULE-RESOLUTION <br />ISSUE: <br />The issue for City Council consideration is adoption of a consolidated Master Parking Schedule <br />Resolution to incorporate all parking regulations into one document for ease of reference. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />That the City Council adopt a resolution to establish the attached Master Parking Schedule <br />Resolution and repeal Resolution No. 20807 and all amendments thereto. <br />COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: <br />On July 1, 2009 the Parking, Traffic and Streets (PT&S) Commission met to review this matter; <br />seven (7) of nine (9) members were present. The Commission voted unanimously to recommend <br />that the City Council approve adoption of a resolution to establish the attached consolidated Master <br />Parking Schedule Resolution. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Riverside Municipal Code (RMC) provides that the parking, stopping and standing of vehicles <br />may be regulated. The attached resolution consolidates all previous parking regulations in to one <br />consolidated Parking Resolution for ease of reference.
