AND THE RIVERSIDE AIRPORT <br />ISSUE: <br />That the City Council consider granting an access easement to TSJ Electrical and Communications, <br />Inc., dba Masters Electric. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />That the City Council: <br />1. Approve the Grant of Easement by t he City of Riverside to TSJ Electrical and <br />Communications, Inc., dba Masters Electric; and <br />2. Authorize the City Manager, or his desi gnee, to execute the Grant of Easement. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Masters Electric recently completed a new facility at 7490 Jurupa Avenue. The design and layout of <br />the building required that they gain access to the property by constructing a driveway on a small <br />portion of Airport property. After a review of agreements for use of Airport property by both Airport <br />staff and Masters Electric, it was determined that a permanent easement is the best option. The <br />total grant of easement is 3,293 square feet. Additionally, a one-time fee of $5,000 will be paid to <br />the Airport for the easement. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no impact to the General Fund.
