ATTACHMENT 1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />CM ATTOP\E', OFFICE <br />3900 \1.-.L\ STREET <br />PIt'E R=_IDE, CA 9:u22 <br />(991) S26-556 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE DIAGRAM AND ASSESSMENT FOR <br />STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT NO. 1, AND LEVYING ASSESSMENTS ON <br />ALL ASSESSABLE LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND THEREIN FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010. <br />WHEREAS, on June 23, 2009, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of <br />Riverside, California (the "City"), adopted Resolution No. 21853, a resolution of intention <br />pursuant to section 22624 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California which, <br />among other things, scheduled a hearing on the proposed levy and collection of assessments on <br />all lots and parcels of assessable land in Street Lighting District No. 1 for the fiscal year 2009- <br />2010 for the installation or construction of public lighting facilities, the installation or <br />construction of any facilities which are appurtenant to such public lighting facilities or which are <br />necessary or convenient for the maintenance or servicing thereof, including grading, clearing, <br />removal of debris, and the installation or construction of curbs, gutters, walls, sidewalks or <br />paving, or electrical facilities, and the maintenance and servicing of such public lighting <br />facilities. The hearing was scheduled for July 14, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, <br />3900 Main Street, Riverside, California; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was duly published as required by said resolution and <br />section 22626 of the Streets and Highways Code; and <br />WHEREAS, at the time and place of said hearing, as set forth in said resolution, the City <br />Council held the hearing and afforded all interested persons an opportunity to hear and be heard, <br />and considered all oral statements and all written protests or communications made or filed by <br />any interested persons; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to section 22630 of the Streets and Highways Code, the City <br />Council may order changes in any of the matters provided for in the report of Albert A. Webb <br />Associates, including changes in the proposed assessments, and the City Council has determined <br />that it is necessary and desirable that the proposed assessments on all lots and parcels of <br />19-3 <br />1 <br />
