ATTACHMENT 1 <br />1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />CM ATTOP\E', OFFICE <br />3900 \1.-.L\ STREET <br />Pn'E R=_IDE, CA 9:u22 <br />(991) S26-556 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, <br />CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE DIAGRAM AND ASSESSMENT <br />FOR THE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 88-1 <br />(SYCAMORE HIGHLANDS) AND LEVYING ASSESSMENTS ON ALL <br />ASSESSABLE LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND THEREIN FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010. <br />WHEREAS, on June 23, 2009, the City Council (the "City Council") of the City of <br />Riverside, California (the "City"), adopted Resolution No. 21855, a Resolution of Intention <br />pursuant to section 22624 of the Streets and Highways Code, which, among other things, <br />scheduled a hearing for 6:30 p.m. on July 14, 2009, on the proposed levy and collection of <br />assessments on all lots and parcels of assessable land in the Landscape Maintenance District No. <br />88-1 (Sycamore Highlands; formerly known as Lusk Highlander or Highlander) (The "District") <br />of the City of Riverside for the fiscal year 2009-2010 for the maintenance and servicing of <br />landscaping and park and recreational improvements, at the City Council Chambers of the City <br />of Riverside, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, California; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was duly published as required by said resolution, <br />section 54954.6 of the Government Code, and sections 22556 and 22626 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code; and <br />WHEREAS, at the time and place of said hearing, as set forth in said resolution, the City <br />Council held the hearing and afforded all interested persons an opportunity to hear and be heard, <br />and considered all oral statements and all written protests or communications made or filed by <br />any interested persons; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council may proceed, pursuant to section 22631 of the Streets and <br />Highways Code, to adopt a resolution confirming the diagram and assessment, either as <br />originally proposed, or as changed by it, and the adoption of such a resolution shall constitute the <br />levy of an assessment on all assessable lots and parcels of land within the District for fiscal year <br />2009-2010; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the <br />City Council of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: <br />1 <br />17-3 <br />
