Adopt a resolution requesting the Riverside County Board of Supervisors increase the <br />CSA 152 assessment within the City of Riverside from $2.83 per benefit assessment unit per <br />year to $5.22 per benefit assessment unit per year; and <br />2. Approve in concept the proposed budget for CSA 152 as outlined in this report and direct <br />that its budget for fiscal year 2012/13 be modified appropriately in the proposed budget <br />brought before the City Council in June 2012. <br />COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION <br />On March 26, 2011 the Finance Committee (Vice Chair Davis and Member Gardner present; <br />Chair Hart absent), received a report presented by the Public Works Department regarding CSA <br />152. The Committee unanimously recommended that the City Council adopt a resolution <br />requesting the Riverside County Board of Supervisors increase the CSA 152 assessments <br />within the City from an annual rate of $2.83 to $5.22 per benefit assessment unit, return to <br />Committee in one year for review of the CSA 152 assessments and approve in concept the <br />proposed budget for CSA 152 as outlined herein and directed that its budget for Fiscal <br />Year 2012 -13 be modified appropriately in the proposed budget brought before the City Council <br />in June 2012. <br />14 -1 <br />
